Well i finally had the car ready for the autocross that was held in mike cronins pit in Killarney on the 19th October. The weather couldnt have been worse with gale force conditions and heavy rain all day but despite all this we battled on setting 2nd fastest junior time on the first run. I beat this time by 5 seconds on my second run and took another 5 seconds again on my third and final run to hold onto second in the junior section just infront of Colin Nelligan in his swift the junior section was won by Thomas Creedon in his Ford Ka.
I was thrilled to bits to get a cup for 2nd in the juniors on my first ever event in some of the worse possible conditions. The car was perfect aside from a misted windscreen which was cured by shampoo at service!!!.
Thanks to everyone who helped me with the car and so on you know who your are.
Cant wait for my next outing!!!
